The remote controller (RC) is the pilot's link to the drone. Modern agri-drone controllers have a built-in screen running the ground-control app.

- Mission planning – draw field boundaries, set swath width, height, speed and spray rate.
- Telemetry – battery, tank level, GNSS status, flow rate and signal strength.
- Modes – manual, A-B line, fully autonomous route, and return-to-home.
- Records – area sprayed and flight logs for billing and compliance.
Range and interference
Keep line of sight, avoid flying behind large structures, and keep the controller antennas oriented toward the drone.
