The model
Most small and marginal farmers will not buy a drone. They will hire one. Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) partners own one or more drones, employ certified pilots and serve farmers by the hour or by the acre.
How Vayusakti supports partners
- Partner portal with a Partner ID — list your drones and services, set your own hourly rates (above the platform minimum) and manage bookings.
- Bookings with advance payment — customers pay a booking advance online, reducing no-shows.
- Payments and payouts — all customer payments are collected through Razorpay; your earnings after platform commission are settled to your bank account on a regular payout cycle.
- Financing — apply for a drone loan and check eligibility for government schemes.
Planning your unit economics
Use the drone business calculator on our home page with your own figures: hours or acres served per day, working days per season, your rate, running costs (pilot, transport, batteries, maintenance, insurance) and EMI. Season length and local demand matter more than any brochure figure.
